Dear Colleagues and Friends:
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 6th Asian Congress on Environmental Mutagens (ACEM), to be held on November 18-20, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
The 1st ACEM was held in Fukuoka, Japan in 2007. Subsequently, the ACEM has been recognized as an important congress in the field of environmental mutagens in the Asia-Pacific region. Developing countries have unique cultures, customs, and economies compared with developed nations and face diverse environmental and health problems. The theme of the congress is “Innovations towards Environmental Mutagen and Genome Research Originating from Asia.” The Japanese Environmental Mutagen Society (JEMS) will host the ACEM together with the 48th JEMS meeting. ACEM/JEMS 2019 will offer a unique opportunity to gain information on the latest findings and research from renowned specialists in the fields of environmental mutagens, genomics, cancer research, and computing toxicology as well as exchange ideas and information with colleagues on the most recent trends.
A new era (Reiwa era) will start in Japan this year, and Tokyo, which is set to host the Olympic Games in 2020, is one of the most exciting cities in the world. We welcome you to enjoy the attractions, culture, and food on this occasion.
We look forward to welcoming you and your active participation in the ACEM/JEMS 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
